✨️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ✨️

Hello Everyone,

I hope you're all doing ok ❀️,

This is an extremely difficult post for me and its been an incredibly tough decision,

I will be temporarily closing Wheek'in Willows,

This is due to a decline in my health, and ongoing health issues,

Im hoping that once under control, I can be back making orders for you lovely people,

I can't say how long this will be but I do need to focus on myself for a little while to get back on track,

Im incredibly sorry and I hope you understand that this hasn't been an easy decision,

Its NOT a permanent close, so I will be back,

I will be finishing current orders and once all complete, I will be looking after myself so I can come back feeling better!

Again im so sorry and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and love you give me,

Lots of love

About Wheek'in Willows 🌿

Welcome to Wheek'in Willows 🌿

my names Kate and im local to Dronfield where I've live my whole life, I am completely animal mad, having a bedroom dedicated for my pets... we can go from furry, insects, aquatic, amphibian anything and I absolutely love it.

Wheek'in Willows originates from my love of animals, especially guinea pigs, the 'Wheek' is from the noises my guinea pigs make and Willow is the name of my beautiful pooch.

In June of 2023 I became quite poorly and this left me no choice but to be signed off work so the investigations could start, I went to the doctors asking to be looked at for endometriosis, an inflammation disorder that can leave you with a wide range of debilitating symptoms, from having multiple blood tests, ultra sounds, x rays, MRI scans etc, nothing would actually show, the only definitive way is to have an operation called a laproscopy, the wait time for this surgery for myself was 8-12 months,

In the meantime of waiting for this surgery I lost my job of 7 years,

After having and still having to take a cocktail of medication for the severity of pain I'm in, I finally got a date for my surgery which was the 16th may 2024,

I finally got the diagnosis of deep infiltrating endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places,

With losing my job I wanted to experiment using my creativity to make something that would mean alot to people, my partner mentioned about trying resin art, which is where are today, im a self taught resin and clay artist, making unique and quirky items whilst also raising awareness of this illness,

This will be why some of the profit I make, each month will be donated to Endometriosis UK, to help others.

I hope you enjoy the products I make,

All my love
